Hi all,
We just received our Jamboree schedule for this weekend! We play 3 games, 10 am, 11 am, and 2 pm - they have been added to the website. Please have your child at the field an hour before the first game with all equipment. Pack them with a change of clothes as well as a variety of clothes (as the weather conditions can change). Also please pack WATER and LOTS of it. We will have a large team water but that will be for emergency use only. Most of the kids are drinking 1.5-2 litres each practice so please bring enough water for three games. (I have found the best strategy is to fill the bottle with 1/3 water and freeze overnight. Add water that morning and it will stay cold for the day.)
Please let me know as soon as possible if your child will not be coming as the coaching staff will need to cover their position for the day and we can practice in the proper configuration this week. Also, the Leduc organization goes through a lot of work to host us all and they have politely asked that all teams refrain from tailgate barbeques and instead support the Leduc club's fundraising efforts.
