An extremely exciting invitation for our Peewee players! Being invited is an honour, so we are looking for a solid commitment from our parents. The players have been asked to participate in a 4 on 4 FLAG FOOTBALL mini game on Jasper Ave on Grey Cup Weekend. Please see the details below. If you are interested in having your player be a part of this event, please commit via email ASAP. We must have our numbers in to the CDMFA by November 1/18. We will provide more detailed information as we have it.

“I would like to invite the Spruce Grove Peewee team to come out to the Grey Cup Festival on Saturday November 24th and play on the Syncrude Mini-Field. The Grey Cup Festival is taking place downtown Edmonton on Jasper Avenue from November 22-24. There will be a Syncrude Mini-Field as part of the Festival and we want to celebrate and showcase all of the football programs we have in Northern Alberta. The field is only 18 yards wide by 50 yards long so we have limited space available.
I would like to host a fun flag football game with the Peewee Cougars players vs. another local association. The game will only be one hour and will be 4 on 4 so 8-12 players would be enough to form a team, but you can bring as many as you want. The field is outdoors and we will be playing regardless of the weather so you would have to be prepared to play in some cold possibly snowy weather.
The estimated time of your game would be between 1pm-3pm on Saturday November 24th, I am still confirming a few different games and times.â€
