As mentioned at our banquets last week, SGDMFA has received information regarding an Athlete Development Program from the Tri Leisure Centre. Below are the details of the program and information about the facilitators. At this time we are only able to offer this program to the players who were at Peewee or Bantam last year. If numbers are an issue we may offer to the graduating Atom players. If your player is interested in attending this program please send an email with your players name to email@example.com before December 15th. We will then contact all the interested parties with the registration date, time, and location.

Our Approach - triACTIVE Sport Conditioning
The TLC does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to Sport Conditioning. We know that collaboration between sport coaches, athletes, parents and TLC Sport Conditioning staff is essential to developing programs that meet the needs of our local athletes and teams. We do, however, believe in a one-stop shop. Our Sport Conditioning specialist can cover athletes and teams from pre-season baseline testing to in-season and off-season training programs. We can provide individual athletes, coaches and teams with targeted workshops on specific topics ranging from activation and recovery, foam rolling or yoga, to nutrition and strength training. Our team of Sport Conditioning specialists can also build your team a season-long comprehensive training program to ensure your team stays healthy and performs at the highest level. The TLC’s triACTIVE Sport Conditioning programs are age-appropriate with a focus on fundamental movement skills and overall physical literacy. We believe that establishing proper movement patterns is essential for creating an athletic base for future development. Additionally, we believe that every athlete has a responsibility for self-maintenance. Therefore athletes in our triACTIVE Sport Conditioning programs will be introduced to strategies for both activation and recovery to ensure long-term health and performance.
