Hello everyone!
The Jamboree is on Sunday June 21 @ the Leduc Lede Field. I will attached the game schedule and Jamboree information for reference.
Arrival Time:
Please have your players at the field by 8:00 am, which is one hour before the first game, so we have enough time to warm up and prepare.
We will meet on the players side of the main field.
Uniform:
- both team jerseys (white & blue)
- grey pants
Please ensure your player is dressed appropriately for the weather. The current forecast is calling for rain, so we recommend bringing:
- extra socks
- change of shirt, long sleeve or sweat shirt to wear under pads if needed
For safety reasons, no hooded clothing should be worn under equipment.
Hydration & Nutrition:
Please encourage your player to drink plenty of water the day before and to eat a good breakfast before arriving. We will be playing games back-to-back so staying hydrated and fuel is important.
There will be a break between the second and third game to allow players time to rest and eat.
For Families:
Feel free to bring lawn chairs. There are bleachers at the field but there may not be enough for all spectators.
Spectator Rules and Code of Conduct:
Please support all players with positive words of encouragement and good sportsmanship. Cheer for effort, teamwork and hustle to help create an environment where all athletes can enjoy the game and develop their skills.
We ask that parents and spectators avoid coaching from the sidelines. Receiving instructions from multiply voices can be very confusing for players, so please leave the coaching to the coaching staff and instead focus on encouraging the team.
Please also remember to:
- be respectful towards, coaches, players and other spectators
- use positive language at all times
- refrain from criticizing or arguing with the referees or opposing teams
- stay off fields unless invited on by coaching staff or officials, if your player is hurt or injured please trust our staff to do their jobs, we will ask for your assistance if needed
Looking forward to a great day of football. See you at the field!
